Self Catering Prices and Details
We welcome long stay bookings, whether it be because you are are seconded to work locally during the week, or perhaps because you need temporary accommodation whilst your own property is being refurbished. Either way, depending on the time of year, we may be able to offer a negotiated rate for continuous stays in excess of one month, so please enquire.
Rental Rates
For shorter stays, our rates are as follows:-

Children
Whilst space in the barn limited to a maximum of four adults, babies might be able to be accommodated with the provision of your own carry cot. There is an additional charge of £7 per night per child or £35 per week per child. If you are planning on bringing a child, please check with us beforehand.
Please note that a winter "energy" supplement of £35 per week (£5 per night) is added to all bookings from the beginning of November through to the end of March to cover additional heating and electricity consumed during this period.
'Maid' (cleaning) services are not provided other than by special arrangement (and additional cost). For Guests staying longer than seven nights, fresh linen and towels will be provided weekly on a 'self change' basis.
Check in time is generally after 4pm but can be earlier by arrangement. Check out time on your day of departure is 10am.
Dogs - please see the note on dogs in General Info. If we have consented to you bringing one dog, there is a charge of £12 per night or £70 per week, whichever is the lesser.
Electric Cars
With the exception of the charging of electric cars, the consumption of electricity and gas is included in the above rental prices.
Electric cars can be charged but Guests will be expected to cover the additional units of electricity consumed as a result. The Barn has a separate electricity meter and the units consumed will be billed to Guests at the prevailing rate.
The barn is also equipped with a charger for a Tesla.

- Bookings are generally confirmed by email.
- A deposit of £15 per night or £125 (whichever is the greater) is required to secure the booking.
- Payment of the total price of the booking is due on arrival (or before if the Guest prefers).
- If the booking is cancelled less than two weeks prior to the first night, the deposit paid will be forfeited unless we are able to re-let any of the cancelled days. If we are successful in re-letting any of the cancelled days, we will refund the amount we have been able recover from the deposit less an administration charge of £75.
- Please accept our apologies, but we do not have online card payment facilities so any pre-payment needs to be by BACS transfer (bank details provided on booking).
